Review: Victoria's best Indian food! ICH is a great place for lunch (I go there frequently with co-workers). Lunch highlights include Channa Bhatura (for vegetarians) and Tandoori Chicken (for meat-eaters). Don't forget the Pakoras (a yummy appetizer). If you are still peckish, try some Indian Tea or Kulfi (a kind of ice cream). An average lunch bill is about $10, but you could eat a substantial meal for $5 if you wished.

For dinner, there are many choices, but my favourite is the Vegetarian Thali, a sampler of several dishes with bread and rice. Go ahead, order it "hot"... you'll get used to it.

The atmosphere is not strictly authentic, but you won't care. Mr. Dhaul and staff are friendly and obliging. I have taken a couple of dozen people to this restaurant over the years and no one has ever been disappointed (several of them have even become regulars).
