Review: Holding its own in the restaurant stretch of Antique Row is J & J Wonton Noodle House.
This is the place to come for fresh noodles and wonton if you find yourself east of downtown and not in the mood for a walk all the way to Chinatown. I recently had their Wonton Noodle soup (what else) and was not disappointed. The selection of other dishes is also quite extensive.
Three warnings: parking can be difficult sometimes in this part of town, lunch is very busy (yes, you can eat for less than $5) and don't wait around for fortune cookies--this place doesn't believe in them.
