A Pocket Full of Spiders
This eight minute comedy directed by Michael Korican was made in 72 hours for less than $200 as part of CineVic's Film Slam 2013.
Directors were randomly assigned to scripts written in 48 hours the previous weekend.
Michael was very happy to make this film because, as a short film about short films, it connected with him. He only added half a dozen words to the script.
In addition to directing the actors, his main contribution was his director's vision. Look for numerous black and white shots: the Dutchie, the Bergman and the Abba.
'A Pocket Full of Spiders' stars Lornna Olson and Ernest Warnielius and was shot on location at Cadboro Bay Beach, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
