Ernest Warnielius stars in Michael Korican's 'Seeing is Feeling'
In Michael Korican's short film 'Seeing is Feeling' Ernest Warnielius plays the role of M. Doiron.
On how he approached playing the role of an agoraphobic, Ernest says, "As a child we build a fort from the livingroom furniture, a refuge for our private thoughts, and for a while we are unassailed by the indifferent world. It's not too difficult to just stay in there forever."
Ernest has appeared on stage, screen and television and studied at the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School. This is his third film with Michael Korican. He claims, "Michael is an actor's director. He has an appreciation of the journey to that elusive place. Like the attentive gardener, he works the soil, germinates his creation and lets it grow."
They both (and all the cast and crew) share a passion for filmmaking. According to Ernest, "Independent film is an unadulterated creative gesture. It exists only because a group of people deeply love the creative act."
